Year End of Youth

Well Youth ended today so as expected one of the leaders gave a big important Speech.

Usually these speeches are well important but come off a little boring except for this one.

the Greeks were worshiping mount olimays and Zeus and such. I want to ask the teachers thisIt was Important plus I felt like I could relate to it a bit easier (it might of had something to do with it being spoken in common English instead of "thou art temperith") also he was taking about how hard it is to complete trust and believe in god because well you cant see him and I have wondered if he was really there and if he really cared about me. For the record school doesn't help much with that either because we are learning about the past and I end up wondering where was Jesus back when the Egyptians were worshiping the sun god and such and when was he when but they aren't allowed to talk about religions and I don't want to offend anyone in class. The point is it really helped and it was a nice thing to end Youth with you know giving us all something to think about. Anyway I had a great time and I cant wait for Youth to start again! (even if it means school again :P)

Anwser to Wish #1

Wishing upon a random star is so much more effective then a shooting star!
That's right my dance lessons start tomorrow!
I can't believe it I just can't believe it!
In fact it happened in a sort of
fairytale way...
Once Upon a Time Melissa after having the worst school day (I want grade 7 to end) went on her blog and was reading through her latest post about her wish to have dance lessons. Then after that she went on you tube with nothing but hope to find some brainless entertainment to occupy her time when her dear mother called her upstairs. As Melissa cautiously stepped up the stairs toward her mother. Melissa's mother had a specious smile on her face as she said "Why do you love me?" and Melissa said slightly confused "uh, because you gave me the sweet gift of life?" then the wonderful mother said "I have something to write on the calender" and Melissa overwhelmed with confusion wondered what she was writing and to her surprise her mother wrote on this wed. slot "Dance" Melissa now overwhelmed with excitement hugged her mom a number of times and then ran downstairs and now is writing this blog entry. That's right I am Melissa and Tomorrow I have Dance Lessons!

Wish #1

I wish upon a random star because the shooting ones fly to fast...

For my whole life I wanted to take dance lessons but they are expensive and I felt guilty asking for them. I did once when I was younger and my mom or dad (can't remember which I was 5 or 6) said "No Melissa it's to expensive and you wouldn't be able to stick it out"...I asked again a few days ago and this time my parents are considering it but it feels like my dream was coming closer and closer but then it started running away. I hate that feeling and I hate asking my parents for expensive things. Plus I don't think they really believe I will be able to deal with it...

I Wish I could take Dance Lessons

True Miracles

I Haven't Witnessed Many Miracles (What do you expect I'm 12) but I have been aware of some.
One is when my aunt who was told all her life she wouldn't have a baby and then gave birth to my cousin Emmy.
Another one is when I was riding my friends bike down a hill and hit the Breaks to hard causing me to flip off the bike according to my friends I blacked out for about a min. but I got up like everything was fine (how many times have you bashed your head on some rocks and then got up a min. later without any injures?)
And the most recent one is the floor collapsing at my church! There was a rock concrete there (that my mom wanted to bring me to) and the ever famous Star field was playing! Everyone was jumping up and down having a good time then the floor gave way and a lot of people just dropped to the basement (the basement is a Large area with cemented floor)! You'd think at least three people would have died you know since the lighting came down on top of them...but no one was killed and only three people where seriously injured! When I heard about this it was HARD to believe but these pictures speak for themselves. God really does work miracles.

What Life Gives...

Being Young and Nieve isn't something you choose to be

It's something you are until Life comes along and gives you a slap up side the head

You'd think Life would have some manners

You'd think life would know how to play fare

You'd think Life wouldn't keep all these secrets from you

Well Life didn't have a Parent telling it right from wrong.

On the other hand I know right from wrong...but why doesn't that stop the bad choices I make.

Why do we make all these mistakes even though we are able to prevent them...but we don't...

I have found one thing that life has given me and that is a whole lot of Choices.
